The Government Statistical Service (GSS) collects, analyses and publishes official statistics to help government, business, and the public understand the current state of the UK economy and society.
What is being offered?
You will work with other team members focusing on research work which will form part of larger projects.
Join us, and you’ll be a part of influencing the decisions of policy makers across a wide range of social, economic and well-being statistics.

Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA)
Cabinet Office (CO)
Department for International Trade (DiT)
Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
Office for National Statistics (ONS)
Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG)
Health and Safety Executive (HSE)
Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS)
The work is challenging and diverse and informs the development of social and economic policy and decision making often making headline news on a daily basis.
